      Hello

      I would like to make your own first moonshine:)

      My first question is how to avoid the production of the production of methyl alcohol ??

      I mean that my product is not alone methanol 🙂

      how to check its contents in the distillate?

      You cannot avoid it…..Methanol

      The bad stuff is the first to come out of the still during production….

      So, depending on the size of the mash the amount you have to pull off and toss out because its the bad stuff will vary…

      The easy way….Temp……

      First cut ….first drops until roughly 180ish degrees F (toss it all out, its the bad stuff)
