Had a few questions about the online recipes at clawhammers for sugar shine. The “Easy Moonshine Recipe” calls for a pound of raisins in the recipe. The “How to Make Moonshine Mash” 3-Sugar Shine does not have raisins included. Which recipe would you recommend for the best taste?
Also the first recipe uses (2) packets of wine yeast, the second does not specify what kind or how much. What is the difference in wine yeast vs Fleischmann’s Active Dry yeast used in the corn whisky recipe? Which might provide a better taste?
