      Hi guys, I’m pretty new at this. I’m pretty sure my run went well, I threw away my first 500ml to be safe and the rest burns a nice blue. The only thing I think I might have done is let the temp get too high? I don’t have a built in thermometer so I’m not sure. Can my stuff be contaminated or dangerous if I let the temp get over the 175 mark?

      Johnny,
      As long as you ditched the fore-shots you should be good to go. The only issues with running a high temp is pulling more water out of the still.
