Does anyone know some good brand-name clearing agents for the mash and antifoam agents to keep the foam down?

      Anti-Foam: Fermcap-s : http://www.northernbrewer.com/fermcap-s-1-oz

Clearing agents: Gelatin: unflavored clear gelatin the stuff from the local grocery store. Add 1 tsp of unflavored gelatin to a cup of hot, but not boiling water and gently mix it into your fermenter after fermentation is finished.

Thank you! How long do you wait after stirring in the Gelatin, 24-48 hours?

I only use Gelatin in my beers- I don’t clarify my mash as there really is no reason to.
but 48 hours and crash cooling does the trick

ok so if I make a corn/sugar mash, then syphon it out to a wash – there would be no reason to clear the wash correct?
