  I have a stainless steel still which has brass fittings for connecting copper and stainless steel fittings. I am concerned about the brass. I’ve read that brass is not good for water applications and therefore not good for distillation. I know brass is used in water applications but am concerned about brass in the distillation process.
  
  Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.
