ThebrainsParticipant
Ill see if I can post my white fuel set up its 100% same as ethanol and shit it’s a still but for my atv engine.
ThebrainsParticipantYou would not run into copper in the drink if you ran a water pump set up, no need for a worm a worm is only needed if doing it in the woods. I would show a water pump how to with only 6 inches of copper if i can find a way to post a pic without it being a link.,,,,?????
ThebrainsParticipant6-8 drops a sec BeverageCommander? LMAO????
You can not try to run it at the boiling point you will produce nothing but a drip or so every min. To many noobs try to run shit at the boiling point with a thermometer and it flat out will not work for you that way. You need to run hot low 200s F to produce anything. You must add water and use an ethanol hydrometer to proof it if you want it anything like store vodka which shine is VODKA not whiskey. If your pipes are making the booze green/blue just use a coffee filter it will catch all that copper no need to use shitty youtube info on cleaning stills just listen to me someone who knows how to shine no one knows more than me on this website. If on a stove top use the smallest burner.
ThebrainsParticipantBut I can not learn I know all sooo? Your tv show about FACTS and how too’s? I’m the dude you need. My wifes from russia she don’t know shit about shine it was b4 we got married when i did it. I know all! Million times more than that retard moonshiners show.
ThebrainsParticipantI’m an expert guy I know more than everyone here they don’t know real from myth.
ThebrainsParticipant40 is really low you should make sure you get yeast for that temp some yeasts are good for cold others high temp. But it’s a load of shit that temp going up and down could kill the yeast the cooler your mixture typically just slows down how fast it ferments. The warmest room is always best why keep it in your cold garage???
ThebrainsParticipantHydrometer get one they are $1.50 ebay from china for around 5-10 usa but china ones for less than 2 work perfect. Fog is transfer or weak/ lots of water. You collect your shine then add water to it to proof it. If not you should not be making it.
ThebrainsParticipantOr bigger the better but the bigger the longer it takes to heat your really better off running a couple small thumpers in a row and like i said pickle jars work perfect. Anyone says they can blow up is not a shiner they are full of bs and should not be making shine if they are stupid.
ThebrainsParticipantpickle jar. A trick about thumpers is if it starts to get full splash a small amount of water on the top of your still. It will create a suction and empty your thumper. After your alcohol production percent will go up higher for a short period of time after doing that also.
ThebrainsParticipant1/4 ounce per gal. 1 pack of bread yeast is fine per 5 gallon. 2 packs for 5 gallon is over kill using more than needed wont speed it up which is hard for new brewers to understand. if you want to speed it up ad fermax you can get 1 pound for about $12 ebay.
ThebrainsParticipant1/4 tsp per gallon.FACT. Ex real shiner here to teach all.
ThebrainsParticipantNo thermometer it wont help. For a coil 10ft is fine but it looks long when you buy it but once you coil it you will see how short it is.
What you need is 1 foot of copper cut in half into 2 6″ pieces and run a water pump with 2 hoses. Water pump is like $4.
Ex shiner, pro cop troller, I can teach you how it is done if you don’t understand.
ThebrainsParticipant??? no… bread yeast is the same strain as brewers yeast, brewers yeast is simply more tolerant of higher alcohol content. Yeast does not flavor your shine. With strong yeast you have better tasting shine because you run into the tail later.
ThebrainsParticipantWhat you ferment in is typically a w 5 gal fleet farm bucket or a 5 gallon water cooler jug. You could even use a 30 gal plastic garbage can they are made of type 5 plastic it is safe. Fermenting is easy not hard sugar water yeast. I used my own pee once added sugar and yeast to it and it fermented just fine. Fermentation is not hard some company’s use open fermentation (no lid) because the bacteria in the air is not a threat it is only a threat if you listen to people who know nothing about distilling. Im the smartest one on this site I should be an admin.
ThebrainsParticipantsecondary only if trying to make good wine (racking)
